Kathak is a north Indian Classical Dance style best known for its intricate footwork, graceful sweeping movements, dizzying spins and subtle emotive expressions. This Kathak taster workshop takes place online and is ideal for anyone with some dance experience. It gives an insight and introduction to the basic formulations of rhythm and movement within the form.

Anuradha is a Reading based Kathak Dancer and choreographer, and an exponent of the Lucknow tradition of Kathak that flourished in and around the historic city of Lucknow in North India. She studied Kathak under late Pundit Arjun Mishra and is a recipient of Sringaarmani from Sur Sringaar Samsad, Mumbai, India. 

She is founder  and Artistic Director of Drishti Dance and currently works as performer, Dance-maker and an educator.  She is also the Principal Artist for South Asian Dance (Kathak) Strand of Yuva Gati, the national advanced dance training programme - Centre of Advance Training (CAT), based out of DanceXhange, Birmingham.
