West Coast swing taster session

Ever been in a bar with a live band or at a party and wished you could dance properly with someone?

Here's your chance to learn a few cool moves with our Foundation Course. You'll learn the fundamentals of West Coast Swing and have the chance to learn both roles to begin with so that you can fully understand the idea of lead and follow. You won’t have to worry too much about footwork initially but we will include lots of fun solo warm ups to help you get your feet going in the right direction.

On the first night, you'll be able to join our WhatsApp group which is where we will post a review video of each class so you can practise at home if you want to. We'll also post videos of the top pros across the world to inspire you!

Taster 16th November, 9pm

School Green Centre, School Grn, Shinfield, Reading RG2 9EH

Cost:

Week one, 16th November: Taster for £10 (students £6).
You can try us out and, if you love it, sign up for the rest of the course after and simply pay the balance.
Five weeks: £50, students £30

Timings:

9-10pm Feel free to come a bit earlier, 8.30pm, and watch the first class who have already completed foundations course and are now focussing on particular elements of the dance.

Location:

- By car: School Green Centre in Shinfield 5 mins drive from Junction 10 on the M4.
- A new purpose-built centre with beautiful sprung floor studios. We are in Ryeish Green Studio the first one as you enter the building.

There is plenty of free parking at the front and behind the centre.

By bus: There is a bus from Reading station called Leopard 3 which stops a 5 min walk away from the venue.
