Becoming Mums, Sport in Mind and Dance Reading present:
Mother and Baby Movement Lab
Wednesday 13th November
These fun, engaging and relaxing classes are designed to help mothers reconnect with themselves and their children through dance, promoting deep listening and meaningful play. Moving together is the perfect way to destress, feel active, and share a different moment with your child.
Whatever your ability, this friendly and engaging class will be a fantastic opportunity.
Run by Mafê Toledo, a leading dance artist, teacher and mother in association with Becoming Mums
Mums & Babies 2 - 2.50pm
RISC Conference Hall, 35-39 London St, RG14PS
Tickets £3 (plus booking fee) per mum, babies free
A safe space for mothers to share their experiences and strengthen their connection with
their babies through movement. Starting on the floor for a shared perspective with the
babies, we then continue moving together with them in slings. An opportunity to find your
flow, release tension, be fully present and learn about your body in its new, postnatal form.
Mums & Toddlers 3 - 3.50pm
For parents/carers with toddlers up to 3 years old. Siblings welcome!
Toddlers develop their fine and gross motor skills and learn about shapes, numbers, letters
and rhythms through creative movement. Parents discover the potential of non-verbal
forms of communication to enhance understanding and self-expression between
themselves and their children.
Tickets £3 (plus booking fee) per mum, 1 child free, additional children over age of 2 - £3 each
