Windows of Displacement is a powerful and exciting solo show, that blends dance, song and spoken word to explore diverse identities in today’s England, travelling through ancestral memory and the shifting and urgent politics surrounding the movement of people.
Born in Jamaica and living in the UK Akeim explores themes of imperialism, colonialism and displacement, creating an evocative story of the past, present and future of humanity. Prepare to be taken on a whole new experience of dance, to reclaim our collective responsibility.
